Located in Alaska’s Interior, Petro Star’s 25,000-barrel-per-day refinery specializes in producing heating oil, jet fuels, and seasonally, asphalt base oil. This facility also produces diesel and turbine fuel used for power generation at the neighboring Golden Valley power plant. Our state-of-the-art laboratory conducts tests for cloud and pour points, gravity, and flash levels, with additional testing on jet fuels to ensure quality and safety.
