Our fuels have one of the lowest pour points in Alaska, allowing customers to use their fuel even if temperatures plunge below -55ºF (-48.5º C). Our fuels are also tested in a state-of-the-art laboratory for their cloud and pour points, gravity and flash level to ensure you will always get a product of the highest quality
We distribute locally produced heating and diesel fuel directly from our refineries in North Pole and Valdez to locations throughout Alaska. We own distributorships in the interior, Valdez, Kodiak, and have partnered with a local supplier in Dutch Harbor. We deliver to your home, office or commercial site.

In Fairbanks, Petro Star Heating Fuel is branded and operates as Sourdough Fuel – headquartered in Fairbanks, AK. Sourdough Fuel is the oldest fuel distributor in Interior Alaska. We supply locally produced heating fuel directly from the Petro Star refinery in North Pole. To provide the most convenient service possible, we offer 24-hr furnace repair and budget payment planning.

Kodiak
In Kodiak, we are branded and operate as North Pacific Fuel. Backed by a combined experience of over 100 years, our staff is committed to providing you with the best service available.
We distribute heating fuel and propane to residential and commercial customers, as well as various government entities. We also carry a full line of lubricants, filters, degreasers, and cleaners in packaged stock inventory. We are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
